Bravo! Bravo! Hot Italian

Last night Kevin and I attended a private, sneak preview trunk show and pre-opening pizza tasting at Hot Italian.

Now, as you can see, the space isn't quite finished yet, but I can tell you we are in for a real treat! The pizza is Fantastico!

Pizzaiolo extraordinaire, Fabrizio Cercatore was there tossing pizza dough and working his magic creating pizzas with ingredients such as Gorgonzola and pear, ricotta, eggplant, and even a pizza with one of my favorites, Nutella. Yum! We can't get the pizza off our minds. We're so excited for Hot Italian to open!

Andrea Lepore has created a comfortable "green" space with Dining, Espresso & Gelato Bar, and a Boutique with Italian Cycle Apparel & Accessories.
Cool stuff! I had to get my "Hot Italian" one of their Hot Italian organic cotton T's by Robert Iannucci.

It looks like Spring for Hot Italian. Get ready for pizza that will have you returning to Hot Italian again and again! Hot Italian is located at 16th & Q Streets in Midtown Sacramento.

Grazie Hot Italian!

i've been driving this place for what feels like a year now... finally, today, i got annoyed enough at the barricades and seemingly lack of activity there to google it and your site popped up.

so i came here seeking answers, and perhaps you might know: what's taking so long???

this "hot italian" banner has been tempting me for ages and i've seen restaurants launch and crash in this time period. there's gotta be a reason for the lag... right???

I understand your curiosity on why it has been taking so long. There are too many numerous construction reasons and explanations for me to jot down. Not to mention the City of Sacramento's planning and building departments bureaucracy. However, I do have good news for you! Hot Italian will be opening this month - probably in a week or two once the final inspections are complete - and again...working with our building department can be a a tad bit daunting!

Once open, I hope you will check it out. I think you will really enjoy the space and dig the pizza!
