Race Information
Run to Feed the Hungry has become an annual holiday tradition for countless area families. Beginning in 1994 with only 800 runners, the event now ranks as Sacramento Valley's largest annual run & fun run/walk. In 2007, 23,000 participants attended and raised over $600,000 for Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services. As they approach the 15th Anniversary they look forward to another record crowd and donations topping $750,000.

10K Run & 5K Run/Walk

WHEN:
Thanksgiving Morning - Thursday, November 27, 2008 — Rain or Shine!

TIME:
Race Day Registration - 7:30 a.m. to 8:55 a.m.
Race Start – 9:00 a.m.
Runners will line up at the appropriate pace marker to start the race based on their anticipated finish time. All walkers and those with strollers & baby joggers will line up behind the runners. Look for the banner indicating your designated start area.

Course
The certified 5K & 10K courses begin on J Street near the California State University entrance. Both courses wind through one of Sacramento's most beautiful residential areas. Baby strollers and wheelchairs welcome. No bikes, Roller Blades, scooters, skate boards or pets will be permitted on the course. Please leave your dogs at home!
