Sacramento Memory Walk Awards Dinner

The Northern California Alzheimer's Association held their Sacramento Memory Walk Awards dinner on Thursday November 20th at Chevy's on the River. My hat goes off to Julie, Frankie, Tina, Mary and Denise for putting on such a nice evening! The Awards night was to recognize Teams, Sponsors, and Individuals who went above and beyond to help make the 2008 Sacramento Memory Walk a success.

Receiving two awards in the category of:
Top Community Team Captain
Top Fundraising Community Team
-Robert Schnetz - Team Heritage Park. They raised $9,522.00

In the category of:
Largest Community Team with 50 registered walkers
- Team Sigma Kappa

In the Category of:
Largest Corporate Team with 66 registered walkers
- Sutter Senior Care Pacers

In the Category of:
Largest Corporate Group Team with 90 registered walkers
- Horizon West Healthcare

In the Category of:
Top Community Individual Fundraiser:
Kelly Ulrickson-Fugina
Team Kelly's Heroes
Raised $7,199.10

Receiving multiple awards was Annemiek Storm of Genworth Financial
-Top Community Team Captain
-Top Corporate Fundraising Team - raising $11,040.37
-Top Fundraising Corporate Group - All teams under the Genworth Financial Group for the Sacramento Walk combined raised $24,200.63
-Top Corporate Individual Fundraiser - Annemiek's total $10,375.37

Awards went out to Teams that went above and beyond the call of duty by putting on extra special events to raise money for Memory Walk 2008

-Julie Seydel & the staff of Horizon West Healthcare - 60's Casino Night

A very special award went out to Juliana Issac for her countless hours of hard work and dedication in planning, organizing,and producing the Sacramento Memory Walk for so many years. We are sad to see you go, but wish you the very best of luck in your new endeavors. You will be missed!
