Bodega Bay Anniversary Trip Part 2

Ahhh, at last we made it to our destination. Sandsation, a wonderful home located in Salmon Creek that we found through Bodega Bay & Beyond. First things first. Cocktails on the deck! We enjoyed a great Pasta dinner created by Brittany & Steve, then more wine, and yes, dancing!

The next day our list of things to do consisted of visiting our favorite shop in Valley Ford - Gabby Girl. If you have not had a chance to stop by Gabby Girl then you will be in for a treat when you do. Everything from garden items, wonderful French soaps and lots of fun things for the eyes. This is a great place to get an unique gift for someone or splurge on yourself. Gabby Girl owner Janet Green and her dog Gabby have a talent for warm greetings, great conversation, and host a wonderful place to shop! The store is open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday year round. 10am to 5pm. Gabby Girl is located at 14430 hwy 1 in Valley Ford, California. 8 miles south of Bodega Bay and 1 hr north of San Francisco.

After some fun shopping, we were off to our next destination - Nick's Cove. Nick's Cove is a restored historic roadhouse overlooking Tomales Bay. They serve up the freshest sustainable local seafood, oysters, produce, and cheese that Sonoma and Marin County have to offer.

We all ordered oysters on the half shell, clam chowder(one of the best we've had!), and of course, local brew from Lagunitas Brewing Co. The sun was out with a cool bay breeze. We couldn't have asked for more!
