Bardessono Inn and Spa is pursuing LEED Platinum certification and incorporated on-site solar and geothermal energy, an energy management system, sustainable building materials, and organic landscape management practices. Crafted almost solely from reclaimed and “upcycled” materials, most of which were sourced within 100- miles of Yountville, heated and cooled by 82 geothermal wells and powered by more than 900 photovoltaic solar panels. The property blends itself into the surrounding community through a series of extended community walking paths.
A touch of glamour awash in green; a return to old-fashioned, highly personalized hospitality; and an experiential hotel where quality and environmental ethics always trump the latest fads.
